Legal Authority

Municipal Parking Corporation is authorized by the property owner to act as their agent to enforce the parking regulations. Depending on the jurisdiction, MPC's Notices are either invoices for agreed upon parking charges or are demands for compensation for illegal parking under relevant trespass laws.

Vehicle owners are provided with the opportunity to pay the Notices within time period set out on the face of the Notice or to submit satisfactory proof of authorization. Unpaid Notices or unsuccessfully disputed claims are subject to collection action against the owner and/or operator.

MPC designs /modifies signage to comply with local regulatory requirements for parking enforcement.
